[sumo] Sumo Etc.
Gaijingai, here, in Bandar Seri Bagawan, the capital of Brunei. It's 7:30PM and the sidewalks are already rolled up!
1. I was at Kinokunia Bookstore in KL last week. No Sumo World.
2. In The Star a couple days ago was a big pic of Asashoryu and Chiyotaikai shaking hands while holding a Japan flag and a China flag.
3. Last night Discovery Channel Asia had a fascinating program on about sumo, from the building of the dohyo to the kimarite to the training methods. Excellent!
4. I've been gone 11 days with 17 to go. E-mail count is up to 677. Looks like the high guesses will be closer. :)
