Re: [sumo] Hakuhou, Rijicho and the Wall

My wife is Chinese and we watch the CCTV-4 news. I understand some but not
all of what is said. So my wife has translated. Apparently the trip to China
has been received well, and the Japanese living there (on the news they
spoke) say that it's a really great opportunity to see the guys for real and
that it's cheaper to attend the sumo "presentations" in China than in Japan
which they say they could not afford. Also the news showed (and I don't
think it's just politically-contrived hype!) that the young Chinese people
really appreciated the sumo experience and (as Rachel said in her post
enclosed) that it does indeed form some sort of a good bridge between the 2
Countries.
Boltono.
