I remember hearing Musashimaru doing commentary on the English NHK
broadcast and he said exactly that; he was pretty halting and awkward
for quite a while, and he finally explained that he has come to think
about sumo in Japanese and so it took a lot of mental effort to converse
about it in English. Despite the tendency to slip back into Japanese
(not so bad for me because I can mostly follow him), I liked his
commentary--very dry and funny.
