[sumo] Yasukuni event

I'm planning to go to this Friday's Honozumo event at
Yasukuni Shrine here in Tokyo. Can anyone who has been
to this event in the past shed some light on:

1) How early should one arrive at the Shrine? I
believe it starts at 10:30 but I'd like to get as good
as seats as possible, but still get my beauty sleep!

2) What is the seating like at this event? Provided I
get there early, will I be able to get near the front
or are there many seats already reserved by others
(heyas, Kyokai, etc.). I'm trying to decide on what
cameras/lenses to bring with me.

Any insight into this event would be appreciated!
