IMHO, Dale has not deserved it that this would be ignored;
speaking for myself I *very_very* much appreciate Dale's effort,
I have no other source for up-to-date Sumo movies,
so I wouldn't know how I could live without this great service.
And I really can imagine what a damn task this is,
every two months have a 14-subsequent-day voluntary extra-job!!

My suggestion would be to include a voluntary donations page or so,
rather than a subscription service, many sites make it this way
meanwhile, let the people decide how much they can afford
and if and how much they want to pay for this service.

Maybe the only issue which should be considered, is, whether
there is a difference if the site can be seen as a commercial
one rather than a private voluntary one, because I'm not sure
there are absolutely no copyright issues.......
