[sumo] Hanamichi Report

Ross Mihara: Here's Riyo Ohta with a hanamichi report. This one's with
Gaijingai.

Riyo: Gaijingai, the final standings are finally out. Omedeto on your
jun-yushos in the ISP, Chaingang, and Sekitori Toto contests.

Gaijingai: Thank you very much.

Riyo: In fact, you got a zensho jun-yusho in Chaingang.

Gaijingai: I did my best.

Riyo: Gaijingai, it's been weeks now since the basho ended. Why the
silence all this time?

Gaijingai: I've been taking elocution lessons from Clyde Newton.

Riyo: Are you and Clyde close?

Gaijingai: Well, with all the cold weather lately, we're going to start
a new magazine.

Riyo: Oh really? What's it called?

Gaijingai: Samui World.

Riyo: Anooooooo - how cold has it been, Gaijingai?

Gaijingai: Well, Riyo, you know I'm from the Massashigawa beya in
Boston, up in New England. We have cold weather there.

Riyo: And how cold is that, Gaijingai?

Gaijingai: Well, Riyo, at zero degrees F people in Miami die - or go
back to Cuba. New Englanders start wearing long sleeve shirts and close
their windows.

Riyo: Eeeeiiiitooooooo......

Gaijingai: At 25 below zero, Hollywood disintegrates, but in New England
Girl Scouts sell cookies door to door.

Riyo: Anoooooooo....

Gaijingai: At 40 below Washington DC runs out of hot air, but New
Englanders let their dogs sleep inside.

Riyo: Nandeka!

Gaijingai: At 275 below zero - absolute zero on the Kelvin scale - all
atomic motion stops. New Englanders start saying, "Cold enough for ya?"

Riyo: Nandelo!

Gaijingai: And at 500 below zero, Hell freezes over. In New England,
the Red Sox win the World Series.

Riyo: Back to you, Ross!

Best regards,
Jeffrey Anderson
