I couldn't applaud this more. And I wish all on this list would follow
example. I am SO VERY VERY TIRED of Clyde Newton and maybe even more
tired of messages about Clyde. (I'll probably be flamed now by people
telling me "There is a delete button", but hey! Back off! That isn't the
point! Ha! - So I reflamed you before you even flamed me.)
My plead to the list now is: please, let's all - everyone, Tom included
- bury the subject of Clyde Newton, now! We all now the story, we've
been through it thousands of times. We know who's for and who's against.
We know bringing the subject up every month just makes people extremely
angry and write nasty things to each other. And the next time some
newcomer to the list innocently asks: "Whatever happened to that
magazine, Sumo World?", maybe someone can reply privately and politely
explain why we don't want to go down that very old road again. I'd be
glad to do that myself. But hey, maybe it's just me and Whitney who
think we should concentrate on actual SUMO on the list? Well, it was
worth a try, start flaming me, if that's you're cup of tea. If not, have
a very nice day and week! :-)
