 Actually, the previous two lower ranked recently retired rikishi (how's
that for alliteration?)- Hoshitango and one from Tatsunami beya - have both
shaved their heads.  I don't think it's a PRIDE thing as much as a "pride"
thing, i.e., not wanting to have just the fringe of hair on the back of the
head. At least that what Hoshitango told me. All three had very sparse mage
are and follically challenged:-)
