Actually, the English torikumi has always only listed the makunouchi bouts.
With the exception of one box office oyakata, they will all give you a
Japanese one, if you ask. If you listen carefully to the stadium announcer,
and know some kanji or have the "head shot" book, you should be able to dope
out who is on the dohyo in the lower divisions.

As for the man with the fan and the hat, he did make several appearances,
and unlike at other times, he DID stand up and wave his fan during the
dohyo-iri. I guess he is an Asashoryu supporter now.
