A friend called me at 5pm telling me to turn on the TV, he was watching
some news report about it.  Here is something I found posted on the web:

I hope he plans on spending the next 6 months at the Gracie Brothers for
intense training to prove all nay-sayers wrong, add me to the that list, I
don't know if he can manage better than Bob Sapp, but I suppose he will
beat Bob, but after that, forget about it, those K-1 dudes are killers IMHO.

I heard a rumor that a year or two ago Bob Sapp challenged him to enter K-1
to take him on.

Plus I recall rumors before, during or right after Akebono's intai about
talking about joining professional wrestler, perhaps the Japan, maybe
someone out there can refresh my memory.

Yeah, maybe he will be a trend setter for all ex-sekitori to consider
joining K-1 after leaving sumo, oh and maybe this will help draw new fans
to watch sumo, or maybe....not.
