[sumo] [Request] Who wants their Sumo photos published in a magazine?

I've just been asked today to write a one-off Sumo article for Kansai Scene
<www.kansaiscene.com>, a free bilingual magazine with a fairly wide
readership throughout the Kansai region. I've written for them before on
other topics and they usually do a fair justice to the topic at hand.

A picture is worth a thousand words though, which brings me to the point of
this post. I need a few nice photos to go with the article. My own
collection is rather poor, as I'm usually in the cheap seats, and in the
last few years have taken the attitude that if I'm always peering through
the viewfinder of a video or still camera, then I might as well just watch
it at home on TV. For me it's much more fun to take in the whole atmosphere
of the arena than to try and get that one precious snap, as there are lots
of much better photographers out there than me (of whom I hope to find a few
on the list).

They are only offering a pittance for the article, as my main aim is just to
educate the unwashed hordes. Therefore, I can't really offer anything for
it other than your name credited for the photos, nice karma and the
knowledge that you are helping to educate the unwashed hordes, but if anyone
is interested, then please send digital format photos to me at the e-mail
address below. I promise that any unused photos will not be used for other
lurid purposes ;-) and that I'll let the list know which photos I've gone
with. Will also promise to send a link about the article to the list, once
it is published (probably next month). Will be a general introduction to
Sumo, with some commentary on the Mongolian rikishi debacle and the
Takamisakari phenomenon, so snaps of these guys would be good, but any nice
snaps will do the trick.

Big thanks in advance to anyone that is able to help me out on this one,
Pete.
