I´m amazed at this lack of respect granted to these two excellent players. In my 
opinion alot of journalists aren´t fit to kiss the boots of a player like Pedro 
Martinez. Who do these guys think they are ? What have they achieved ?Perhaps 
you and Jeanne are right and I am naive. However if I´m correct in understanding 
your phrase "letting Pedro fall through the cracks" as meaning "ignoring" then 
perhaps that´s not such  a bad thing.
