Asashouryuu showed up for keiko with his left elbow taped up again. He 
had 10 bouts with Juryo Futenou. He was even beaten by him, leading some 
papers to degrade him for losing to a "zanbara rikishi" ("he lost to a 
guy that can't even do a proper mage", was the wording..)."I only did 
some keiko with the Yokozuna. It's not a real win", he humbly downplayed 
the event. Apparently , Asa was rather piqued, and won the next 8 bouts, 
using some wild tsuki and strong nages. The word "furious", (hageshii) 
was used to describe his thrusts."I was really nervous. The Yokozuna has 
awesome speed. I learned a lot from him", said Futenou.
After the keiko, he did some butsugari with him as well for three 
minutes. His relationship with Futenou goes back to when they were both 
college wrestlers. Uchida (Futenou) had beaten Asa in the past to become 
college Yokozuna. Lately, he has become a "designated" keiko partner for 
Asa. At the arena, Asa lost to Musashimaru by yorikiri, so they are now 
1-1, which makes you pretty sure that it's not serious (see next item).
" No, no, there is no need to talk", he said to the reporters who tried.
He was supposed to have a wedding reception, which he has been planning 
for some time now, with his wife and a few thousand guests, but it is 
said to be postponed for now. OTOH, reporters say there never was an 
actual set date, so..

Deja vu. Musashimaru in trouble. Again. Left wrist pain is preventing 
him from doing "satisfactory" keiko. Again. He did some light shikos and 
did not enter the ring. Papers are seriously beginning to doubt his 
participation in Aki at this point.
