Subject: Japan East and West


         Went to see the one showing of the "Sumo East and West"
documentary film in my area, at the AFI Silver Spring, Maryland theatre,
on the 21st of June.  It was shown in New York for two days and will
also be shown in Los Angeles and Denver.  It is expected to be on PBS
stations next Year.  Good photography, but the high point for me was
finally seeing Doreen.  I now have a matchup for the wonderful voice I
hear on the NHK TV Sumo broadcasts and the lady behind all the
informative Sumo we read on our Sumo circuit.
