Re: [sumo] 2005 Honbasho schedule



After the Kuramae Kokugikan (and the adjacent hotel whose
name I've been trying to remember for the last 45 minutes
without any luck...) had been demolished, the government of
Tokyo built a sewage treatment facility there.

Incidentally, I heard on the midnight news that today (or
it could have been Jun. 2) was the day that the old Ryogoku
Kokugikan was completed in 1909.  There now are a condo building
and another with restaurants, a small theater, and a fitness club.
