Big Wrestling Arena To Be Built in Kobe

Work on Y1,000,000 Ring to Commence Next Month

   KOBE, Apr. 15. - A Y1,000,000 amphitheatre to be known as the Dai Nihon 
Kobe Kokugikan, where the professional wrestlers of the Dai Nihon Osumo 
Kyokai will grapple for supremacy annually, is to be constructed on a plot 
of land measuring 5,000 tsubo in the centre of this city.
   The construction work will be commenced next month and completed by May 
of next year. Where the gigantic
amphitheatre will be built is now being kept strictly secret.
   According to the plan, the edifice will be a three storied structure and 
will resemble the Ryogoku Kokugikan of Tokyo in shape. Special care will be 
taken as to the ventilation, lighting and acoustics. On the left of the 
entrance to the amphitheatre there will be provided special seats for 
distinguished persons.
