[GAMES] 2003 Haru SB and LL Masters Winners Determined!! :)
FINALLY the 2003 Haru Basho SB and LL MASTERS winners have been
determined! And they are BOTH first-time winners! Awesome!
First off, in the Ladies' League Masters, Amanogawa battled till the
exciting conclusion with Kaenkamiko, winning the Pink Mawashi in a
Kettei-sen, as both reached a grand total of 26 overall points!! By
virtue of beating Kaenkamiko in their direct head-to-head duel,
Amanogawa gets the edge in the tie-breaker! A very pleasing victory
for the Aomorian, as she once before lost the Masters Title in a
Kettei-sen to Getayukata, during the Kyushu 2002 Basho!
Congratulations, Yuupii!! ^^ And also congrats to Kaenkamiko, who came
oh-so-close!!
In the Super Banzuke Masters, the first-time winner is... Kintamayama!!
The congenial Komusubi, competing in his second SB Masters, scored a
PERFECT 27 points, leading all three scoring categories! A great
performance, and a close one, too - despite the 27 points, a closer
look at the scoring shows a VERY close battle with Hamanoyama and
Flohru. Thus, the Green Mawashi goes to Israel for the very first
time, congratulations, Moti!! ^^
So much for the two Masters! The new SUPER BANZUKE is in the works,
and will be published when I receive all the individual games' banzuke.
For the very first time, one of the widely popular Japanese games will
be included in the ranking!
You can find all the details on the SB Masters, the LL Masters and the
SUPER BANZUKE at http://www.superbanzuke.com, of course! :)
For those who don't know yet, the SB Masters invites the top-10 players
from the SUPER BANZUKE, while the LL Masters is open to all female sumo
gaming enthusiasts.
Again, congratulations to the winners!!
Cheers!
Zenjimoto
