Re: Kyokai News - April 4

My question to this would be 'Why?' I would think the Fujishima Myoseki would be more prestigious, and would be what a former Yokozuna would prefer. Anyone have an idea why they'd switch?

36 year old Akinoshima acquired the Yamahibiki Myoseki

Ranked West Makuuchi 12, Akinoshima finished the basho
with 6 wins and 9 losses and managed to hang onto a
Makuuchi ranking in the May Basho.
