It's reported that Takanohana Oyakata has exchanged
his "Fujishima" Toshiyori Myoseki with Akinoshima's
Toshoyori Myoseki "Yamahibiki" effective March 23
after this year's Haru Basho Senshuraku.

36 year old Akinoshima acquired the Yamahibiki Myoseki
last September while Takanohana gained 
his Myoseki in December, 2000.   

Ranked West Makuuchi 12, Akinoshima finished the basho
with 6 wins and 9 losses and managed to hang onto a
Makuuchi ranking in the May Basho.
