As Tochiazuma fan I must oppose this view :-)   Tochi
will sit out next basho and come back in may, and
unless he'd still be handicapped by his injury by then, 
I'm sure he'll retain his Ozeki rank without problems.

That's quite impossible. He had 8-7 and 9-6 records
the last two basho, so even with a 15-0 in march
a promotion would be very unsure. In my opinion
it has been a long while since Koto fought on 
Ozeki niveau, though I'm convinced he'll reach
that rank sooner or later.

They better had to in order to retain their Ozeki
rankings. There should be definitely no problems for Chiyo
who even before january basho seems to have been fit enough
to consider participation. As for Kaio, who knows if his
injuries will ever allow him to be back in his former
strength; but I hope the four-months rest will allow
him to be at least healthy enough to get certain kk.
