Takatoriki intai sumo

I don't have a lot of time to write at the moment, but it was great to see 
three yokozuna dohyo-iri! and it was good to see both Kaio and Chiyotaikai 
return to the dohyo -- the gyojis in charge had wisely matched them against 
each other so they didn't have to strain themselves. Asashoryu got loud 
cheers, both for his dohyo-iri and for his win over Musoyama in the 
musubi-no-ichiban.

It was a very good-natured occasion. There was a charming moment after the 
final haircut, when his four little boys climbed onto the dohyo to give 
Daddy bouquets, and his very pretty wife handed up another from below the 
dohyo. Then he sat down ready for the celebration of his career -- to be 
called back to receive more bouquets from the other side of the dohyo from 
some boy scouts who had been slow in getting there!

Then, while Takatoriki sat on a chair in the center of the circle, Daishi 
mounted the dohyo behind him and sang a specially-written  jinku in his 
honor. Daishi was in excellent voice and it was a beautiful and moving 
performance.
