TACHIYAMA RETIRES FROM RING

   Announcement was made at a dinner party at the Tsukiji Seiyokan, Tuesday 
evening of the retirement of the champion wrestler Tachiyama from the ring. 
There were present over a hundred and fifty patrons, including Count 
Itagaki, who is the sponsor of the wrestler, when the latter joined the 
Wrestlers' Association.
   In behalf of Tachiyama, Mr. Tatsuno thanked the friends present for 
their enthusiastic interest in the retiring champion. Count Itagaki 
delivered an eulogy of his favorite, saying that he was very happy to have 
seen him promoted to the high rank of the championship, and that he was now 
retiring into the governing body of the Association.
