Japan Today: Takanohana to resume training Sat

TOKYO ^× Injury-plagued yokozuna Takanohana will resume training this weekend 
in a bid to return to the ring in time for the New Year Grand Sumo 
Tournament, stablemaster Futagoyama said Thursday.

"I asked him (Takanohana) if he felt in good shape and he said yes. He'll 
probably start off doing some basic exercises and we'll take it from there,"
