Outlook virus vulnerability (was Re: attachments)

Hi all:

These viruses take advantage of Microsoft's default setting for Outlook 
Express, which allows HTML-encoded mail (yes, this means styles like 
boldface and other such crap) and other things.  If you want to make your 
copy of Outlook safe, here's one home page with the info:

Eudora is similiarly vulnerable and the fixes are similar: turn off message 
preview panes, don't allow HTML encoding, don't permit executables to 
launch, etc.
