Years ago I got into a semi flame war on this list
over a comment made by a list member about some things
that Maru had said in pijin English. It went on
for a few days before we both realized that
perceptions and misunderstanding were behind it. Ever
since then I have always determined to consider any
post to be either sumo related opinion, observation or
an attempt at humor.  In the case of humor to each his
own.  There are so many different cultures represented
on this list that virtually anything can be taken as
an insult by someone who desires to get irritated.

I am assuming that you were kidding around and that
Mr. Anderson does as well.  People need to lighten up
and if someone feels the need to blast another
member...perhaps do it one on one instead of listwide.

Just a suggestion for some of our friends. I do find
that I get a lot less irritated by comments made on
this list though
