Re: Sumo movies [Very non-sumo, as usual]

Hi,
I'd like to thank everybody too. You're an amazing group,
as always. Well, as I've been telling Ken, I'm not too
comfortable with accepting anything right now. Nothing 
to do with ethics or anything, it's just that I'm not
sure I'll be able to do the movies, at least this next
basho. I probably will, but I'm not really able to think
about it right now. 

I had to finally let Chiaki go, for the good of both of us. 
We had a wonderful month together, and she promised to return 
(her idea- I didn't ask it) and stay "much longer". Then she 
went off to Germany, and as usual quickly grew more and more 
distant. Her German life and I are two separate worlds to her. 
I have grown to understand her thinking, and she's always come 
back to my world, but the waiting is far too much for me to bear
anymore. I feel like she's a beautiful bird that I've been trying 
to keep in a cage. I had to finally let her fly away free. I hope 
she'll fly back to me one day, but I doubt it. But I can't say 
I love her unless I let her go. I hope she'll be happy.

Needless to say, I'm heartbroken. I'm getting better- I only 
burst into tears in inappropriate places a few times a day now :)
I just haven't gotten to the point where I can say I'll continue
the sumo movies or not. I'm very grateful to all of you, and 
especially to Ken Coller for his coordination of this. I think
the effort is on hold for a little bit, while I get my act back
together (as if it ever was :)

OK, I'm done babbling about my pathetic personal life yet again 
on this list for now. Thanks for your patience and your friendship.
