The Japan Times, Sunday 8th August 1915 

                                                  WRESTLERS SEEN OFF

Thirty Tokyo wrestlers including Dewanoumi, Umegatani, Nishinoumi and other champions, who are going to San Francisco, sailed from Yokohama yesterday afternoon by the Shinyo Maru. The wrestlers were given a grand send off at Tokyo Station and the hatoba, where were assembled their families and a crowd of friends.
