2 Day Sumo Tourney At Higashi-Maizuru

Proceeds To Go Into Fund For Construction Of Naval Museum

    HIGASHI-MAIZURU, June 24. - A two day sumo tourney will be held here at 
the end of July or early August, participated in by 270 wrestlers of the 
Tatsunami Club, under the auspices of the Higashi-Maizuru municipality and 
supported by the Maizuru naval base.
    The proceeds will go into the fund for the construction of the proposed 
Naval Museum as one of the enterprises by the Maizuru naval base in 
commemoration of the 2,600th anniversary of the founding of the Empire.
    The Tatsunami Club wrestlers, headed by Futabayama and Haguroyama, will 
visit here after returning from their projected barnstorming tour of 
Manchoukuo.
