Sumo book from 1919


I just stumbled onto this site, which has the complete text 
and many of the illustrations from a book about Sumo written 
in 1919 by a German POW in Japan.  Rather interesting to read 
the editor's comments on the lifestyle of POWs during WWI. 

In addition to lots of information about Sumo itself, there's 
a lot of historical perspective that makes it an even more
interesting read.  Great way to get your between-basho sumo fix.
