Takanohana resumed his training for the Nagoya Basho
on May 31.  Initially he had training sessions with
Makushita rikishis but this past weekend he had 32
training bouts against the heya's sekitoris -
Takanonami, Akinoshima and Takatoriki and won 29
bouts.

He is reportedly making an excellent progress and even
impressed his oyakata who was hoping for the condition
he achieved now just prior to the basho.  So
Takanohana seems to be at least ahead of his oyakata's
training program.

He has not had any training bouts with other sekitoris
but he will be in Nagoya the day before the banzuke
release so he will have some opportunity to mingle
with other sekitoris prior to the basho starts.
