Sumo Matches In Peking
PEKING: A party of 147 Japanese sumo wrestlers including Futabayama, the
yokozuna or grand champion, and such celebrities as Haguroyama, Maedayama,
Nayoroiwa, and Tamanoumi are scheduled to come to North China for a tour
this summer for the purpose of comforting the Japanese soldiers here.
They will stage exhibition matches in Peking for four days from July 27
to July 30, in Tsingtao for two days on August 2 and 3; in Tsinan for two
days on August 5 and 6 and in Tsientsin for three days from August 8 to 10.
