Mono ii (spoiler)

Can I get someone's opinion on the two bouts that I thought ought to have 
been mono-ii.

First one, Daizen's win over Takanowaka (I think), looked like a definite 
mono-ii.

Second one, Takanonami's win over Asashoryu.  Yes, I am on the Asashoryu 
bandwagon big time, I always favor the gaigen, but it looked like 
Takanonami's foot touched the outside of the dohyo first, however, it 
seemed that Asashoryu had a definite strategy that failed miserably, I 
would have preferred if he had not gone for Takanonami's belt, but yeah, I 
just post on the SML, never been on a basho dohyo, so what do I know.
