Retirement Announcement - Mystery Solved

The word on the street is that the retirement announcement will 
come from none other than the Hoshitori's own Kesamaiasa, the 
Yokozuna whose record streak for kachikoshi ended only in May and 
who continues to stumble in Nagoya.

Recently the Yokozuna was seen wandering the streets of Sydney,  
waving a half-empty Coopers bottle and shouting, "Otsukasa!  
Otsukasa!"

I can only add that there's a gloomy mood to the Maiasa Beya - a sort 
of death watch, compounded with nausea.  It's like movie-goers who 
caught the opening night of Mariah Carey's "Glitter"...

Kesa's retirement will no doubt send shockwaves through our sister 
stable, the Woodstock-beya, with Kintaro-Yokozuna and 
Obana-Ozeki - who it should be pointed out are NOT of the same 
stable - although we do occasionally trade used mawashi.

The Hoshitori will not be the same if Kesa retires - a sad day for us 
all!
