Sumo World is great!

It would be interesting to know: is there ANYONE on the list who has
anything nice to say about Sumo World? As for myself, I think it's a
fine, high-class publication, that... just kidding. I couldn't agree
more with Barbara. A glimpse of hope appeared when the person promoting
"Sumo Nation" newsletter made me think this was actually something to
replace SW with. Turned out it was a joke, like SW (spelling errors,
factual errors, not much to say) but less text and no pictures. Asking
20$ a year for that is not far from highway robbery. So it seems all
that's left is to discontinue SW. Of course all the information is in my
computer, but I'm really gonna miss having a handy reference (albeit
inaccurate...) for each basho.

I think once upon a time, Sumo World was done with real passion, but for
many years now has just been running on empty so that there's nothing
left. Very sad. I don't think SW can be saved. Put it out of its misery
and let someone else start afresh. It's a nice dream...
