I imagine this being in one of those Movietone or Pathé newsreels,
immediately following scenes of General DeGaulle triumphantly 
entering the newly-liberated Paris. Geez, just how old are you,
Tom?? Just kidding :)

Maybe these people could coordinate their particular areas
of coverage and create a website that pulls all this information
together. Maybe appoint a few editorial people who could also
provide comment/predition-like stuff. Sort of an "e-zine" using
the resources already provided to this mailing list. Then, after
some time honing their efforts, perhaps a print publisher could
be found to get a bi-monthly digest out onto newsstands or into
people's mailboxes on a timely basis.
