Takanohana appeared on the dohyo in Futagoyama-beya for the first time
since 159 days.
He spent 1 hour doing shiko stamping and careful suri-ashi sumo-walking.

Terao tells he wants to go on till 40 (Hochi)
The juryo west no.2 turns 39 on Feb. the 2nd next year. He entered the
jungyo tour on the 7th. He didn't take part in the bouts, but lent his
chest to the local primary school children and showed that he's still
present as a popular rikishi.
Chiyotaikai aims for a kadoban yusho (Nikkan, Hochi)
The longest active ozeki met the most recent one Tochiazuma at the jungyo,
both 25.
As it is fitting for the kohai, Tochiazuma lowered the head and gave water
to the sempai, showing his thankfulness.
