How many people on this list have been angered by the talk
that football players could come in and wipe the floor with sumo guys at
their own game because of their physical strength and the fact that rikishi were
fat and slow?
I don't recall anyone such conversation but I could
be wrong. Not many people can compete in two professional sports for all
of the reasons outlined in the previous messages. There are of course
exceptions. Is Hanada an exception? Who knows? Only an attempt
will show. I can name on American football player that I would love to
step in the ring and whom I think would be a formable challenge, Orlando Pace of
the New York Jets (I believe). He is huge and unbelievable quick and
agile.
Anyway, I think Hanada could surprise a few
people. Will he make the All-Star in Honolulu, doubtful but he could
create quite a challenge to many career football players.
