No more Sumo on Eurosport? - Headcount! :-)
Hi Bandey & All,
I too got the same automated reply from Eurosport :-(
Desperate times call for desperate measures, so it's time to kick this action into a
higher gear, methinks!
Question to all:
How many European viewers of Sumo broadcasting on this list have not yet sent an e-mail
to Eurosport to ask about the continuation of their Sumo coverage? Come on now, confess!
You know who you are! :-)
I'm so desperate now that I may decide to comb through all 491 subscribers of this
mailing list, check how many are based in Europe and write to them individually. OK, I'm
not quite that desperate yet, but it may still come to this! ;-)))
If you haven't written to Eurosport (yet), please do send an e-mail a.s.a.p. to them at
one of the addresses listed below. It doesn't have to be a long or complicated e-mail
(it would appear they don't read them anyway), just mention something like "Sumo
coverage" or "Sumo on Eurosport????" in the subject of the message. After all, we may be
about to lose the only source of Sumo TV coverage available to us in Europe!!!
OK, here we go:
URL: http://www.eurosport.com
The link "Talk to us" takes you to their e-mail addresses:
----
Questions about our TV programming:
Check TV schedule or send questions to
comheadoffice@eurosport.co.uk
For The Netherlands send to : mdenooijer@eurosport.co.uk
For Switzerland sent to : mbernegger@eurosport.co.uk
For Poland sent to : m.wierzbicki@gnp.pl
---
In fact, at this point I don't think it really matters that much if you can receive
Eurosport TV or not, only the volume of the e-mails they receive regarding their Sumo
coverage counts IMO, so those outside of Europe are welcome to join in and help us poor
Europeans save our Sumo Coverage! :-)
B.T.W.
If this doesn't work we can all start writing to Mr. Syd Hoare, the English Language
commentator of Sumo on Eurosport who has his own website at http://wwww.sumosumo.com as
he may then soon be out of a job (at least I don't recall him presenting anything other
than Sumo/Judo on Eurosport... Nah, forget I said that! ;-)
