[Broadcasts] KONISHIKI & Mainoumi special on NTV

Just saw another special on KONISHIKI's weight loss attempts and other
recent adventures tonight (April 3rd) on Nihon Terebi (21:00-23:09).

Included his visit again to a specialist trainer in Orlando, USA to lose
weight.  He had gone back up to 292kg and in the month there dropped back
down to 280kg.

I found the second half much more interesting though, with him meeting up
with Mainoumi in New Zealand and going bungee jumping.  Despite all the past
talk of Susanoumi like bungee jumps on this ML, was a bit of a let down
after Mai-zeki was conned into jumping, then KONISHIKI not being able to go
for it as was still heavier than the 180kg limit for the bungee cord (even
though he had dropped another 8kg since leaving Orlando).  Also had some
white water rafting and camping in the great outdoors with the two great
past rikishi, including a comment by Mainoumi around the campfire that he
would love to get into teaching Sumo (probably in amateur Sumo though).

KONISHIKI then went onto Australia, to meet up with the Japanese female
softball team practicing at the Olympic Stadium in Sydney and a look in at
the Australian Sumo Kyokai's training.  After the adults had finished and
got some sage advice from the big K, was a great scene where two quite
different sized kids were in the ring and the Mainoumi-like sized one threw
the much larger kid.  Might have even been some members of this ML at that
one, would love to put some names to faces if anybody wants to come forward
with the info.  The special finished off with short footage of KONISHIKI's
radio interviews related to his recent CD release.

Anyway taped the second half so will offer copies in the future with recent
Wakanohana specials, when there is another interesting special or doco that
will make a full long play tape.
