New ozeki Musoyama is absent from the jungyo because of renewed back
problems, Akebono is kyujo after some swelling at his head was surgically
removed.
Futagoyama-oyakata, occasionally suspended chief of the sumo kyokai jungyo
department, mentioned an about 20% increase in ticket sales due to Waka
appearing finally once more as the "visitor gathering panda".
The expression originates from the two giant pandas presented to the Showa
tenno by the Chinese government some 30 years ago (I don't know when) and
masses came to the Ueno zoo in Tokyo to see them.
The recent state present to the present tenno have been the two toki
ibises, whose offspring named "Yuu-Yuu" is written with the kanji character
for e.g. outstanding like in "yuusho".
The yusho connection for Toki - if Takatoriki can do it ...
