Re: [non-sumo] viruses and HTML
I return from abroad to find that, in my absence, I have been in rapid
succession both personally accused of setting my messages to be issued in
HTML (apparently a malum prohibitum, i.e., non-mens rea offense) and then
EXONERATED! As with Barbara below, who's already posted, I speak out to
deny the accusation, even though it has already been generally retracted.
I doing so, I am reminded of what was described as a favorite political joke
of LBJ, who described a plan to sabotage the campaign of a very stupid Texas
politician by accusing him of [fornicating with] pigs. When doubt was
expressed that such an accusation would have the desired effect, he
explained, THAT would happen when the politician held a news conference to
deny it!
Best regards to all, after a great trip to Asia involving (sadly) very
little sumo,
Chuck / Shiyonofuji
