51st Annual Sapporo Snow Festival has started today on Saturday February
5th, 2000. It will end on February 13th next Sunday.

I added many more links in my Snow Festival page including large snow
sculptures and buildings, small snow and ice sculptures, and International
Snow Sculpture Competition. You may find someone you know for your native
country working on snow sculptures, even from the countries no one expect
to see snow.
