Now the whole story is out all over the place, why
wouldn't Itai talk to well established media in Japan
instead of only releasing his comment through the
editors of Shukan Gendai magazine ?

Certaily this thing is immense interest to the rest of
Japan not just the members of the Foreign
Correspondent Club and Shukan Gendai readers.

Is there some type of "self restraint" exercised by
the mainstream media in Japan as they often do for the
Royal Family ?
