what I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned is the comments of the time
where it was suggested that taka had a bit of incentive to let nami and
waka win. This was as a thank you for the number of times they had beaten
ake or maru or other yusho contenders and eliminated them from the yusho
hunyt, or given taka the chance to win it in a playoff which he did most of
the time against ake and maru.
