Apparently, the two Takas gave the fans to watch in Kumamoto during the last
jungyo.  They had 14 training matches at a stretch.  Takanowaka lost all 14
matches, but obviously training with a yokozuna aided his sumo, especially
when you look at the Miyabiyama match.

If Takanowaka does become part of Takanohana's dohyo-iri crew, that would be
rather funny.  Takanowaka's stablemate Wakanosato was often in Wakanohana's
dohyo-iri (when they were both healthy and in the same basho at the same
time).  Actually, there's a picture of Takanowaka being the tsuyu-harai for
Takanohana's dohyo iri during the Kyushu jungyou.  It certainly looks as if
they're preparing in case Takatoriki drops, and Takanowaka looks to be the
next in line...
