Re: Oyakata prerequisite

This information is from:
http://www.accesscom.com/~abe/toshiyori.html

Taiho-beya's Ohdake Oyakata, former Juryo Dairyu, has been renting
Takatoriki's Myoseki "Ohdake". As soon as Takatoriki retired, Dairyu
needs to retire from Sumo Kyokai.

Taiho is still only 59 years old and he won't reach 65 for 5 and a half
more years. Takatoriki was born on September 28, 1967 and it makes him
32 years old. If he is healthy as Terao and Mitoizumi, he could stay
active till Taiho's Oyakata retirement age. But I don't think he could
for his health condition.

The best guessed scenario would be that when Takatoriki retired, he
would be a new Ohdake Oyakata in Taiho-beya. Taiho Oyakata will remain
as Shisho for Taiho-beya. As soon as Taiho Oyakata reaches 65,
Taiho-beya will change its name to Ohdake-beya under Takatoriki's
guidance as a brand new Shisho.
