There is a statistics on my site - "as of actual/recent basho" -, including
rikishi (listed on Kyushu Basho Banzuke, from Jonokuchi to Makunouchi) by
birthplace:

Tokyo - 71, Osaka - 63, Fukuoka - 62, Aichi - 54. Of course these numbers
always change (especially in March).

I posted this message only to show you this URL, if somebody is interested
in these numbers, can view them updated before each basho.
